# Todo vs TaskMind

The clearest difference is monetization model: TaskMind at freemium against Todo's subscription. TaskMind also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Todo's advantage is ratings volume (396 vs 53) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Todo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and TaskMind sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskMind holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Todo has 396 ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Todo's written reviews are positive against 68% of TaskMind's.

Todo ships an update every 2 months, TaskMind weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
