# Bloups! vs Orthographo

The clearest difference is rating: Bloups! at 3.0 against Orthographo's 1.0. Bloups! also leads on device support (4 vs 1). Orthographo's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 65%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bloups! sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Orthographo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bloups! holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bloups!'s written reviews are positive against 89% of Orthographo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bloups! ships an update every 4 months, Orthographo every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
