# HITS 97.3 vs X102.3

The clearest difference is review sentiment: X102.3 at 100% against HITS 97.3's 73%. HITS 97.3's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (107 vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HITS 97.3 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HITS 97.3 has 107 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of HITS 97.3's written reviews are positive against 100% of X102.3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
