# Bears vs. Art vs Bloop Islands

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bloop Islands at free with in-app purchases against Bears vs. Art's subscription. Bears vs. Art's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 75%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bears vs. Art sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Bloop Islands sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bloop Islands holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 137 and 187 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Bears vs. Art's written reviews are positive against 75% of Bloop Islands's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
