# atCompassMobile vs KeyCard BBM

The clearest difference is rating: KeyCard BBM at 4.7 against atCompassMobile's 4.0. KeyCard BBM also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). atCompassMobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyCard BBM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. atCompassMobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

KeyCard BBM holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyCard BBM has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of atCompassMobile's written reviews are positive against 84% of KeyCard BBM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

atCompassMobile ships an update every 6 months, KeyCard BBM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
