# HGS vs Vitgo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vitgo at 85% against HGS's 17%. Vitgo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). HGS's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vitgo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HGS has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of HGS's written reviews are positive against 85% of Vitgo's.

HGS ships an update every 2 months, Vitgo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
