# Tripsource vs Secure Express

The clearest difference is rating: Secure Express at 5.0 against Tripsource's 4.6. Tripsource's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Secure Express holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tripsource has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
