# iMediaShare vs EasyCast Pro

The clearest difference is rating: EasyCast Pro at 4.2 against iMediaShare's 3.2. EasyCast Pro also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). iMediaShare's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyCast Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per year. iMediaShare asks for nothing beyond the download.

EasyCast Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 956 and 2.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of iMediaShare's written reviews are positive against 23% of EasyCast Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iMediaShare ships an update every 3 months, EasyCast Pro every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
