# Secure Notepad vs MemoTaro

The clearest difference is ads: Secure Notepad at none against MemoTaro's shown. Secure Notepad also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 13). MemoTaro's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MemoTaro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
