# Secure Notepad vs My Super Secret Diary Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: Secure Notepad at free with in-app purchases against My Super Secret Diary Notes's subscription. Secure Notepad also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). My Super Secret Diary Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months).
