# Secure Notepad vs Elsewhere Reminders

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Elsewhere Reminders at 100% against Secure Notepad's 70%. Elsewhere Reminders also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 5 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Secure Notepad's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elsewhere Reminders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elsewhere Reminders holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secure Notepad has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Secure Notepad's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elsewhere Reminders's.

Secure Notepad ships an update every 5 months, Elsewhere Reminders every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
