# Secure Notepad vs Minutely

The clearest difference is update cadence: Minutely at every 2 weeks against Secure Notepad's every 5 months. Secure Notepad's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Minutely sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secure Notepad ships an update every 5 months, Minutely every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
