# Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader vs RIP VIP

The clearest difference is rating: Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader at 5.0 against RIP VIP's 3.8. Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 15 months). RIP VIP's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 36%) and price ($0.99 vs $5.99). On ads, in-app purchases, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader costs $5.99 and RIP VIP $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RIP VIP has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader's written reviews are positive against 61% of RIP VIP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple RSS Push+ · Feed Reader ships an update every 9 days, RIP VIP every 15 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
