# Pedometer for M7/M8/M9 vs Daily Steps

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Daily Steps at 1.6K against Pedometer for M7/M8/M9's 1. Daily Steps also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Pedometer for M7/M8/M9's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 17.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer for M7/M8/M9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daily Steps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pedometer for M7/M8/M9 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Steps has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Pedometer for M7/M8/M9's written reviews are positive against 72% of Daily Steps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pedometer for M7/M8/M9 ships an update monthly, Daily Steps every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
