# LinkedIn Recruiter vs ProRecruiter

LinkedIn Recruiter and ProRecruiter both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ProRecruiter's written reviews are positive against 25% of LinkedIn Recruiter's. ProRecruiter also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ads (none vs shown). LinkedIn Recruiter's advantage is ratings volume (9.2K vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProRecruiter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LinkedIn Recruiter has 9.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of LinkedIn Recruiter's written reviews are positive against 100% of ProRecruiter's.

LinkedIn Recruiter ships an update every 5 weeks, ProRecruiter fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
