# True vs onNAV SailLink

The clearest difference is update cadence: onNAV SailLink at every 2 months against True's every 41 months. True's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and onNAV SailLink sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

True ships an update every 41 months, onNAV SailLink every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
