# True vs MSI MAP

The clearest difference is update cadence: MSI MAP at every 3 weeks against True's every 41 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MSI MAP sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

True ships an update every 41 months, MSI MAP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
