# K106 vs MGM+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: K106 at none against MGM+'s 16. K106 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). MGM+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 34 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MGM+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. K106 asks for nothing beyond the download.

K106 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MGM+ has 88K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

K106 ships an update every 34 months, MGM+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
