# Amida 2 vs あみだくじ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Amida 2 at none against あみだくじ's 1. あみだくじ's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 17 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. あみだくじ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Amida 2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Amida 2 ships an update every 17 months, あみだくじ weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
