# Cooking Fever vs Bubble Milk Tea Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bubble Milk Tea Maker at 97% against Cooking Fever's 42%. Bubble Milk Tea Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown). Cooking Fever's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cooking Fever sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Bubble Milk Tea Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cooking Fever holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cooking Fever has 346K ratings behind it against 118, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Cooking Fever's written reviews are positive against 97% of Bubble Milk Tea Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cooking Fever ships an update fortnightly, Bubble Milk Tea Maker every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
