# mySchneider vs AK

The clearest difference is rating: AK at 5.0 against mySchneider's 3.6. AK also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). mySchneider's advantage is ratings volume (146 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mySchneider has 146 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

mySchneider ships an update fortnightly, AK every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
