# PIXPRO SP1 vs KODAK Classic Frame

The clearest difference is review sentiment: KODAK Classic Frame at 64% against PIXPRO SP1's 12%. KODAK Classic Frame also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 6). PIXPRO SP1's advantage is rating (2.3 vs 2.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PIXPRO SP1 holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KODAK Classic Frame has 43 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of PIXPRO SP1's written reviews are positive against 64% of KODAK Classic Frame's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PIXPRO SP1 ships an update every 8 months, KODAK Classic Frame every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
