# Multiply vs Discover the Bible

The clearest difference is rating: Multiply at 4.9 against Discover the Bible's 4.4. Discover the Bible's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months) and review sentiment (69% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Multiply holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 24 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Multiply's written reviews are positive against 69% of Discover the Bible's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Multiply ships an update every 16 months, Discover the Bible every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
