# RingCentral vs AmeriLife Events

The clearest difference is monetization model: AmeriLife Events at free against RingCentral's subscription. RingCentral's advantage is ratings volume (78K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AmeriLife Events holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RingCentral has 78K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RingCentral ships an update every 3 weeks, AmeriLife Events every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
