# RingCentral vs FORMULA FORUM

The clearest difference is monetization model: FORMULA FORUM at free against RingCentral's subscription. FORMULA FORUM also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). RingCentral's advantage is ratings volume (78K vs 1) and chart position (#81 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FORMULA FORUM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RingCentral has 78K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RingCentral ships an update every 3 weeks, FORMULA FORUM every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
