# Noonlight vs Covert Alert

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Noonlight at 17K against Covert Alert's 232. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noonlight sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Covert Alert sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Noonlight against 4.8 for Covert Alert. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noonlight has 17K ratings behind it against 232, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Noonlight's written reviews are positive against 93% of Covert Alert's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
