# instax SHARE vs SimpleVidz

The clearest difference is rating: SimpleVidz at 5.0 against instax SHARE's 2.1. SimpleVidz also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). instax SHARE's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SimpleVidz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: instax SHARE has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

instax SHARE ships an update every 2 months, SimpleVidz every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
