# iPassworder Password Manager vs Locker Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: iPassworder Password Manager at free with in-app purchases against Locker Pro's subscription. iPassworder Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 245). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPassworder Password Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Locker Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for iPassworder Password Manager against 4.8 for Locker Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPassworder Password Manager has 4.7K ratings behind it against 245, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of iPassworder Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 67% of Locker Pro's.

iPassworder Password Manager ships an update every 3 months, Locker Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
