# Polar Flow vs Sequence

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Polar Flow at 50K against Sequence's 3. Sequence's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polar Flow sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month and Sequence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Polar Flow against 4.7 for Sequence. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Polar Flow has 50K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Polar Flow ships an update monthly, Sequence weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
