# Polar Flow vs ErgScan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ErgScan at 100% against Polar Flow's 50%. ErgScan also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). Polar Flow's advantage is ratings volume (50K vs 13). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polar Flow sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month and ErgScan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ErgScan holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Polar Flow has 50K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Polar Flow ships an update monthly, ErgScan every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
