# Shutterbugs vs Multiplication Math Flashcards

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shutterbugs at none against Multiplication Math Flashcards's 6. Shutterbugs also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (4.3 vs 11.0). Multiplication Math Flashcards's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 6) and chart position (#193 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multiplication Math Flashcards sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Shutterbugs asks for nothing beyond the download.

Multiplication Math Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Multiplication Math Flashcards has 1.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Shutterbugs's written reviews are positive against 68% of Multiplication Math Flashcards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shutterbugs ships an update every 3 weeks, Multiplication Math Flashcards every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
