# NotifyEM vs Timers Everywhere

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NotifyEM at none against Timers Everywhere's 1. NotifyEM also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.2). Timers Everywhere's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timers Everywhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NotifyEM asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for NotifyEM against 5.0 for Timers Everywhere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timers Everywhere has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NotifyEM ships an update every 5 months, Timers Everywhere fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
