# Pro Shogi vs バレーボール

The clearest difference is price: Pro Shogi at Free against バレーボール's $0.99. Pro Shogi also leads on rating (4.2 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). バレーボール's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (69% vs 41%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Pro Shogi is free to download; バレーボール costs $0.99 up front. Pro Shogi sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. バレーボール asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pro Shogi holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Shogi has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Pro Shogi's written reviews are positive against 69% of バレーボール's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pro Shogi ships an update every 2 weeks, バレーボール every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
