# Vandy Vans vs TripShot

The clearest difference is rating: TripShot at 4.8 against Vandy Vans's 1.7. TripShot also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 10) and chart position (#56 vs unranked). Vandy Vans's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 21%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TripShot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TripShot has 5.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Vandy Vans's written reviews are positive against 21% of TripShot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vandy Vans ships an update every 10 days, TripShot every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
