# Vandy Vans vs Metropolis

The clearest difference is rating: Metropolis at 4.9 against Vandy Vans's 1.7. Metropolis also leads on ratings volume (45K vs 10) and chart position (#14 vs unranked). Vandy Vans's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 26%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Metropolis holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Metropolis has 45K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Vandy Vans's written reviews are positive against 26% of Metropolis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vandy Vans ships an update every 10 days, Metropolis every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
