# Fantastical Calendar vs TellDone

The clearest difference is rating: TellDone at 5.0 against Fantastical Calendar's 4.2. Fantastical Calendar's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fantastical Calendar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and TellDone sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TellDone holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fantastical Calendar has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fantastical Calendar ships an update every 3 weeks, TellDone every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
