# Ashams الشمس vs Tzofar

The clearest difference is rating: Tzofar at 4.5 against Ashams الشمس's 3.9. Tzofar also leads on ratings volume (121 vs 19) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Ashams الشمس's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 71%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tzofar holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tzofar has 121 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Ashams الشمس's written reviews are positive against 71% of Tzofar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ashams الشمس ships an update every 5 days, Tzofar every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
