# Classic Pyramid Solitaire vs Pyramid

The clearest difference is rating: Pyramid at 4.5 against Classic Pyramid Solitaire's 3.5. Pyramid also leads on ratings volume (336 vs 4). Classic Pyramid Solitaire's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pyramid holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pyramid has 336 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Classic Pyramid Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 78% of Pyramid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Classic Pyramid Solitaire ships an update every 5 months, Pyramid every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
