# CHECK24 vs ProForma PORTAL 2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CHECK24 at 70% against ProForma PORTAL 2's 10%. CHECK24 also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). ProForma PORTAL 2's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ProForma PORTAL 2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHECK24 has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of CHECK24's written reviews are positive against 10% of ProForma PORTAL 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CHECK24 ships an update weekly, ProForma PORTAL 2 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
