# Super Clock vs Ticking

The clearest difference is rating: Ticking at 4.7 against Super Clock's 3.7. Ticking also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 17.0). Super Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Ticking sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ticking holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 35 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Super Clock's written reviews are positive against 50% of Ticking's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Clock ships an update every 2 weeks, Ticking monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
