# Super Clock vs Gesture Alarm Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Gesture Alarm Clock at 4.2 against Super Clock's 3.7. Gesture Alarm Clock also leads on ratings volume (182 vs 35) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Super Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Gesture Alarm Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gesture Alarm Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gesture Alarm Clock has 182 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Super Clock's written reviews are positive against 50% of Gesture Alarm Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Clock ships an update every 2 weeks, Gesture Alarm Clock every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
