# Step It Up vs Pedometer Plus

Step It Up and Pedometer Plus both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Pedometer Plus's written reviews are positive against 28% of Step It Up's. Pedometer Plus also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Step It Up's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (823 vs 116). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step It Up sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pedometer Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Step It Up against 4.6 for Pedometer Plus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Step It Up has 823 ratings behind it against 116, so its average is the more settled of the two.
