# Petcube vs Soliom

The clearest difference is rating: Petcube at 3.7 against Soliom's 1.7. Petcube also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 64) and review sentiment (25% vs 13%). Soliom's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Petcube holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petcube has 1K ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two.
