# Petcube vs HANBD

The clearest difference is rating: Petcube at 3.7 against HANBD's 1.4. Petcube also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 32) and review sentiment (25% vs 12%). HANBD's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Petcube holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petcube has 1K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
