# Petcube vs FurFolio

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FurFolio at 92% against Petcube's 25%. FurFolio also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Petcube's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (1K vs 24). On price, ads, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FurFolio sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Petcube asks for nothing beyond the download.

FurFolio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petcube has 1K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Petcube's written reviews are positive against 92% of FurFolio's.

Petcube ships an update fortnightly, FurFolio every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
