# Tewahedo vs Mizan

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tewahedo at none against Mizan's 4. Tewahedo also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Mizan's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mizan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Tewahedo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tewahedo ships an update every 6 weeks, Mizan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
