# MATCHi vs Procup

The clearest difference is rating: MATCHi at 4.7 against Procup's 3.7. MATCHi also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 3). Procup's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MATCHi holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MATCHi has 51 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of MATCHi's written reviews are positive against 20% of Procup's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MATCHi ships an update fortnightly, Procup every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
