# Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App vs Smart Receipt Scan

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart Receipt Scan at every 2 weeks against Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App's every 2 months. Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 65) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Smart Receipt Scan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App has 6.7K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App's written reviews are positive against 82% of Smart Receipt Scan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foreceipt Receipt Tracker App ships an update every 2 months, Smart Receipt Scan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
