# Blokaspaai vs Self Made TV

The clearest difference is update cadence: Self Made TV at every 2 months against Blokaspaai's every 10 months. Self Made TV also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blokaspaai sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Self Made TV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blokaspaai ships an update every 10 months, Self Made TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
