# Speeches vs Calculisy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Speeches at none against Calculisy's 3. Speeches also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 14.0). Calculisy's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 91 months) and ratings volume (61 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculisy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Speeches asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speeches holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculisy has 61 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Speeches ships an update every 91 months, Calculisy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
